Linhope House

 Mrs Joanne Woollett ran Linhope House in Alnwick for just under two years  where she had guests returning for the fourth time she also received five star silver award in this short time and also 41 five star ratings on trip advisor her aim is to provide the same level of service here in Rothbury.We are opening our doors for Guest accomodation from 3rd of September 2010.

Any bookings taken between the 21st of August 2010 and 30 September 2010 for stays exceeding 2 nights  the guests will receive a free  bottle of bubbly per room.

Linhope House is an imposing Edwardian terraced townhouse set within secluded  grounds in cental Rothbury. It offers guests unlimited and secure parking and quality guest accommodation.  The property is located just minutes away from the centre of the historic town of Rothbury, famous for the Cragside estate owned by the Armstrong family and the splendour of Northumberland National Park. We are also only a short walk from Rothbury Golf Club (Special rates apply to Linhope House Guests).

In this superb location, we aim to provide luxury and comfort in a friendly atmosphere.  Children over 15 years are welcome.  We operate a no smoking policy throughout the house.
Linhope House was built around 1902 and still retains much of its Edwardian elegance.  The hallway has original coving and oak staircase. 

Guests can enjoy breakfast in the beautiful dining room with its high ceilings, impressive fireplace and huge south facing windows.  Our four large guest rooms have been recently decorated using traditional styling and include a variety of antiques and modern furnishings to ensure every comfort. All of the bedrooms are en-suite, two having baths and separate shower cubicles.

All our large guest beds boast quality Egyptian cotton bedding and goose down duvets (man made duvets on request).  The rooms are also equipped with large fluffy dressing gowns, hairdryers, a range of toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, radio alarms and  large 37" HD/TV with satellite channels.  A selection of books and DVDs are available for guest use.

Outside, there is a lawned garden, surrounded by well established trees, lending the property a peaceful and secluded atmosphere.
